VYCON Appoints 19-Year IT Sales Veteran as Director of Enterprise Accounts
LOS ANGELES – June 20, 2011 — VYCON (www.vyconenergy.com), the designer and manufacturer of environmentally friendly, high-speed energy storage flywheel systems, today announced the appointment of Erik W. Brumbaugh as the Director of Enterprise Accounts. Brumbaugh most recently was a consultant/enterprise account executive at VISI Incorporated, where he helped lead the company's growth in its Data Center and Cloud service offerings.
As the Director of Enterprise Accounts, Brumbaugh will be responsible for promoting VYCON's VDC and VDC-XE Direct Connect DC power systems to Fortune 1000 companies as well as original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). VYCON's clean energy storage flywheel technology offers a greener and more reliable alternative for battery-based uninterruptible power supplies (UPSs) in mission-critical environments such as data centers, medical facilities, broadcasting studios, industrial plants and casinos.
During his 19-year career, Brumbaugh has held key sales and management positions with power quality leaders such as Venture Computer Systems, All Systems Installation, and APC by Schneider Electric - Critical Power and Cooling Services.
